The Western Front Today - Polygon Wood Cemetery
Located in Polygon Wood the Polygon Wood cemetery - along with Buttes New British cemetery (which includes a panel dedicated to the New Zealand 'Missing') and the 5th Australian Division Memorial - contains a relatively small number of burials, 118 graves.
Of this number the majority are of New Zealand servicemen - 57. There are also 32 U.K., 1 German plus 28 unknown burials. There are also 17 special U.K. memorials and 13 special New Zealand memorials.
Formerly there was a German cemetery containing 347 graves: these have since been relocated elsewhere.
